Divorced wife told to "get a job" - was it that simple?
A recent court decision where a fairly wealthy man complained about having to support his ex-wife, who declined to work, indefinitely has attracted a lot of press attention, and interpretation. As is normally the case when matters are reported, this was not a "normal" case, but the arguments it has prompted are interesting reading.
